Both these photos were labelled Owen Cavanough (distantly related by marriage to a cousin of our Baker ancestor). It's clear they're not of the same gentleman
The Windsor and Richmond Gazette 24th June 1921 has a photo of the Owen Cavanough in our family tree which could possibly match the top "Owen" (without the handwriting). There were others with the same name Owen Cavanough going right back to the 1st Fleet. However the Owen Cavanough in our family tree was born in 1839 and died in 1893.
The back of the photo with the handwriting has also been scanned to show the photographer's studio for further research.
The photos would have probably been taken in the 1880s or 1890s.
These photos are supposed to both be Maud Mary Baker (nee Perry) (1865-1950). However they look like two different ladies. One would be Maud Mary Baker (nee Perry) and the other very likely one of her sisters. The photos would have probably been taken in the 1880s.
